1. Choose Classic or Detailed
Classic asks for a training focus and one major career decision before resolving the season. Detailed uses the same engine but divides the year into pre-season, first half, winter window and run-in.
2. Build your player
Choose a name, position and first club. Check the club OVR and expected role instead of selecting only the biggest badge: regular minutes can be more valuable than an early trophy chance.
3. Manage each season
Set a training priority, respond to coaches, protect fitness and evaluate contracts or transfer interest. Season reports explain appearances, starts, ratings, goals, injuries, honours and market value.
4. Continue to retirement
Contracts lose a year each season and new opportunities reflect performance, reputation and role. Keep playing until age 40, then review the complete career and final Legacy Score.
